Will The Real True Worshippers Please Stand Up?

Well, True Worshippers, we are at the end of another year and I still have to ask the question, will the real true worshippers please stand up? I am sure you are wondering what does she mean? Well, I mean look at what's happened in just this past year. How about what's happened in just this past month. I rarely watch the news, I don't listen to commercials, and just what I've heard in the last month is astounding! How many parents lost their children this year within days of Christmas? Even more than the Connecticut tragedy, and believe me, that's bad enough, but in addition to that, there were at least two children killed while laying at home in their own beds by some idiots driving by shooting guns. This was on two different occasions right here in Atlanta. Then what about the mother who lost her only child a few days before Christmas over some tennis shoes. How sick is that? Kids are killing kids! Now we can talk about gun control all we want but, as Samuel L. Jackson says, this is about more than guns, this is about people not knowing the value of human life. And again, I say, will the real true worshippers please stand up! We are so quick to want to regulate issues, and I am not saying I am for or against gun control, because I don't want this to be about that. Because I will say the same thing about abortions and any other behavior America is trying to regulate, it's all in the same boat and it's all Ludicrous!!! YOU CAN'T REGULATE BEHAVIOR! All you will end up doing is putting more and more people in jail, which is probably what it's all about anyway. You know what I say, follow the money. Is mayor Bloomberg of New York really concerned about people's health, by passing the legislation to prevent people from drinking large drinks? Or is he more concerned about generating revenue for New York? Think about it. People are going to drink what they want, and smoke where they want. And what happens when they do? They get fined. Where does the money from the fines go? To the city of New York. What a way to generate revenue without having to raise taxes.

What I mean by saying, "Will the real True Worshippers please stand up," is when will the true worshippers become salt and light in the earth, or let their light shine, or be imitators of Christ, or walk in love, or walk in peace, or go ye out into the world and preach the gospel of the love of God? Can you imagine what America would be like, if everyone who professed Christianity would be walking living demonstrations of Christ? If everyone walked in love and peace? If people were not afraid to minister Christ to the lost? If Christians were to minister the love of Christ to women getting ready to have abortions, or to the alarming rate of children who have been abused physically or sexually? In my opinion, mentally and sexually abused children grow up to be child abusers, child molesters, murderers, homosexuals, and serial killers, all because no one took the time to genuinely share God's love with them. I'm not talking about religiously speaking words of the bible. Or, even asking people to go to church. I'm talking about living a life before them. I Peter 3:1 says that wives should let their conversation (lifestyle) win their husband to Christ. Well, if wives can do that for their unsaved husbands, why can't Believers do that for any nonbeliever? I Peter 2:12 says, "Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world." We need to get outside of the four walls of a church building and share the love of God. We should be walking living demonstrations of John 3:16. It must be real to us, before we can make it real to someone else. Believers, let's work on spreading the good news. Let's come outside our comfort zone. You don't have to go around carrying a big bible and quoting scriptures. Live a holy life before the unbelievers. Before long, they will come to you. However, if you are doing everything they are doing, and they can't see any difference between you and them, then you are having a negative effect on the Body of Christ. You are a bad representation of Christ. That's the problem. Unbelievers no longer respect God or Christ because His representatives no longer walk in His Power. I always say if you want something different, you have to do something different. Each one can reach one. Let's change the world, one person at a time. God Bless you, Worshippers.
